🌟 **Atlanta's Hunger Walk/Run: A Step Toward Fighting Hunger!** 🌟

Every year, the **Atlanta Community Food Bank** organizes a special event called the **Hunger Walk/Run**. This time, on a sunny Sunday, March 9, 2025, people gathered at a place called The Home Depot Backyard. Why, you might ask? To support a great cause and make sure everyone in our city has enough to eat. 🍎🏃‍♀️

### So, What Happened? 🤔

During the **Hunger Walk/Run**, our wonderful community raised over **$500,000**! 😮 That's a HUGE amount of money, and it’s going to help a lot of people. You see, right now, almost 240,000 people in Atlanta need help to get food every month. That's about 11% of all the people in the city. That's why events like this are super important. 🌟

### Why Does This Matter? 💡

Good question! In the last two years, the need for food aid has jumped by **60%**. Can you believe it? That's a lot more people who need our help. But thanks to caring people in our community, who came to the event or supported it, we can make sure more families have food on their tables. 🍞💪

### Who Benefits from the Event? 🤗

The money raised helps the Atlanta Community Food Bank provide food to those who need it most. Imagine your school having 100 kids, and 11 of them need help getting enough food. With this event, we're making sure those 11 kids, and many more, get the help they need. 🏫🍽️
